Birol: Oil Producers Face Serious Challenges to Economies

October 11 -- International Energy Agency Executive Director Fatih Birol tells Anna Edwards and Manus Cranny on "Bloomberg Daybreak: Europe" that a crude price at $60 per barrel would be sufficient to spur U.S. output, adding that an oil-price increase could lead to weaker demand growth. With many oil producers facing “serious challenges” to economies on lower prices, Birol says Middle East producers are talking with Russia on supply.
