The new generation of reggaetoneros is slowly but surely making their way into the big leagues. One of them is Puerto Rican reggaetonero Ozuna, who at only 24 years old is already dropping chart-topping singles and becoming a YouTube sensation with music videos that have amassed more than 800 million views combined.
"I never imagined my career would take off this fast," Ozuna tells Billboard. "I think my music has connected with the audience because I always have a clear vision about my songs. I want everyone to identify with my tracks and for all of us to be part of it in some way or another. Whether my lyrics are about love or something else, I always make sure I'm connecting with my fans and to see their support is definitely a motivation."
With four tracks on Billboard's Hot Latin Songs, Ozuna's debut album will include major collaborations with urban superstars. "I can't reveal yet any of the names, but they are big names," he tells us. In the past, he's collaborated with Farruko, Arcangel and Coscuella.
