Beastie Boys’ Ad-Rock Scores New Comedy 'The Truth About Lies'

Beastie Boys’ Ad-Rock (aka Adam Horowitz) has scored the forthcoming comedy The Truth About Lies. The film was directed, written, and produced by former heavy metal musician Phil Allocco (Law and Order, Dogma). The Truth About Lies stars Fran Kranz (“Dollhouse”) as Gilby, who has a hard time accepting the truth after a breakup and instead finds himself caught in an increasingly large web of lies. It also features stars Mary Elizabeth Ellis (“It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia”) and Odette Annable (Cloverfield). Watch the trailer below. The film opens October 27. Ad-Rock previously scored the 2014 documentary, No No: A Dockumentary.
