A year after Bankroll Fresh was killed outside of Streets Exec Studios in Atlanta, a new project from the "Hot Boy" rapper is on the way. In a new interview with XXL, Bankroll Fresh's mother, Terisa Price, revealed that her son's first posthumous album, In Bank We Trust, will arrive this April.
"Well, the name is gonna be In Bank We Trust, and I think we're gonna do 12 songs and bonuses on the album, and we was really trying to push it for the 4th," Price explained. "But I'm not sure if we're gonna push it for the 24th of April, which is K. Rich's birthday," she noted of the late MC's mentor and stepfather, who is also the CEO of Savoir Fair Entertainment.
Price also said she's nabbed several features for her son's forthcoming album, and named some of the songs on the project, as well. "We're gonna have some features on there from different other artists that's out. But we're working on it now, and we were just in the studio the other day, and we've got a hot song that's gonna be a single. I named it 'A Hell of a Night.' I named 'Dirty Game' and I named 'Truth Be Told' [also]," she epxlained.
Last month, Atlanta police released video footage from the night Fresh was shot and killed. Authorities are still investigating whether Fresh was using self-defense when he fired off his assault rifle.
In January, fans received a sample of In Bank We Trust, when Fresh's trap-laden record "Truth Be Told" was released.
