Baby No More: Avril Lavigne Goes Sleek and Sophisticated in New 'Babysitter's Black Book' Video

Avril Lavigne’s still got it. Nearly 13 years after the release of her debut, the Canadian pop star is back with a new song, “Give You What You Like.”

At age 30 and married to Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger, Avril has come a long way from her days of crashing the mall in her “Complicated” video. She’s still fresh-faced and stylish, but her new clip shows signs of past looks, like “Sk8er Boi” couture, back-to-school Abbey Dawn Kohl fashions, or even the wild, colorful styles from last year’s critically panned “Hello Kitty” video.

Fashion takes a backseat though as Avril is consumed with the song’s storyline of loneliness during an unromantic encounter. She’s only featured in one set, shot in a room full of candles that provide the scene’s only lighting. The rest of the video features clips from Babysitter’s Black Book, a new Lifetime TV movie about a group of college-age babysitters who moonlight as prostitutes, in which the song is featured.
