Australian News Anchor’s Hilarious Reaction After Getting Caught Daydreaming
On ABC News 24, anchor Natasha Exelby was caught off-guard when the camera cut back to her while she was presumably daydreaming. Within the span of just a few seconds, the Australian Broadcasting Company anchor went from fiddling with her pen, to panic, to calmly moving on to sports. This little slip-up could have just slipped by, but ABC Media Watch did the right thing and tweeted out the video for the world to enjoy.
ABC Media Watch captioned the video, “The feeling when you’re caught daydreaming at work :)”

Exelby took it all in stride and sent out a tweet about the incident the next day.
“Thank U all for ur generous support. Not my finest hour. Myself and my mesmerizing pen honorably salute you.”

As with so many other news gaffes, this video quickly went viral. Unfortunately for Exelby, her bosses aren’t laughing with the rest of us. Exelby has reportedly been demoted and will no longer be appearing on-air.
