All Apologies? Frances Bean Cobain Secretly Marries Kurt Lookalike, Doesn't Invite Mom Courtney Love

Frances Bean Cobain, the 23-year-old rock ‘n’ roll royalty descendant of late Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain and Hole’s Courtney Love, is a married woman, E! News has confirmed. And if you look at any photos of Frances and her groom, Isaiah Silva of rock band the Eeries, it’s like taking a glimpse at Kurt and Courtney back in the day. Silva’s resemblance to Frances’s father is downright uncanny.

In keeping with her parents’ tradition (there were only eight guests and Kurt and Courtney’s 1992 Hawaiian wedding), Frances’s ceremony was intimate and low-key, with only about 15 guests in attendance. Not among those guests: the mother of the bride herself, Courtney Love, who reportedly was not invited.

“Courtney loves Isaiah, but was devastated to learn that Frances had gotten married without her knowing,” a source told E! News. “Courtney really likes Isaiah and is very happy for Frances. Courtney is sad she wasn’t at the wedding. Frances called her after but understands why she did it. Frances needs a man in her life and has always craved stability. She’s found it in Isaiah. This has not caused a rift between mom and daughter. Courtney was sad, but she’s cool and Isaiah is a great son-in-law.”

Perhaps to show just how cool she was with the whole scenario, Love posted a photo on Instagram Saturday of herself with model James Norley, with the snarky caption: “If you think I’m sorry for being a no-show at any important events this week, think again. I was with James Norley … Bwahaa xc.”

Love was also spotted in Las Vegas last weekend, where she introduced the Killers’ Friday night set at the iHeartRadio Music Festival.
