Adam Levine Is Lovesick Over Sarah Silverman in Pokemon-Inspired 'Don't Wanna Know' Video

Fame is basically just a big game of Pokemon Go.

At least that seems to be the subtext within Maroon 5's clever new music video for "Don't Wanna Know," in which Adam Levine and his crew -- donning colorful, oversized cartoon costumes -- run from crazed cell phone-wielding fans through the streets of Los Angeles. All the while, the lead singer appears completely lovesick over a big orange version of Sarah Silverman. Watch below!

Ed Helms, Shaquille O'Neal and Vince Vaughn also make cameos in the video, which was helmed by Wedding Crashers director David Dobkin.

Dobkin previously worked with Maroon 5 on their wildly popular Wedding Crashers-themed video for "Sugar" in 2015.

While Levine sings about heartache on the catchy new track, he's been married to supermodel Behati Prinsloo for two years. The pair welcomed their first child, daughter Dusty Rose, on Sept. 22.

"I like to think that parenting is something that we were literally put on this earth to do," he said on Thursday in an interview on On Air With Ryan Seacrest. "I've been a parent for three weeks, what do I know? I don't know anything. But it's kind of part of the beauty of it, honestly. There are a lot of instincts, a lot of things that kind of kick in and switch on. It's a beautiful experience."

Earlier this year, Levine explained how he keeps his personal life separate from his songwriting, telling ET that he is "a fan of heavily shrouded metaphor" with his lyrics.

"I like to keep it to myself and let people interpret it for what you want," he said. "I think it's more fun that way because then I can kinda exist behind it and it's like, a little more mysterious."
