Adam Lambert Will Be Your Father Figure: See His George Michael-Esque ‘Ghost Town’ Video

Over the years, Adam Lambert has eschewed the guylinered glam of his early American Idol image for a more grizzled, more high-fashion persona. It’s one of the best makeovers in Idol history (not that the man didn’t look pretty damn good before), and now his metamorphosis seems complete.

Lambert has a new label deal, with Warner Bros.; a new album coming this June, The Original High; and a slick, sexy new EDM sound. And it all comes together in his hypersleek, Hype Williams-directed, just-premiered video, for his Max Martin-produced single “Ghost Town.”

Adam is totally giving me some Faith-era George Michael realness here, and the vibe is the perfect fit for this '90s-reminiscent deep house jam. So much leather. So much denim. So much fishnet. So much awesomeness. I have faith that this one’s going to get a lot of views.
