A man in his 20s was shot dead in Brisbane, Australia late last night while acting in a music video for hip-hop group Bliss n Eso, the BBC reports. Police are investigating whether firearms used in the video contained live ammunition or blanks. Bliss n Eso’s manager said the band was not present at the time of the shooting, in a statement to Australian news outlets.

Police said firearms were discharged just before 2 p.m. local time (11 p.m. yesterday Eastern), during filming at a bar in the city center. Members of the film crew attempted to resuscitate the actor with CPR. After paramedics arrived, he was pronounced dead on the scene. A criminal investigation is now under way. “We do not know specifically how those injuries occurred at this point in time and that'll be [the] subject of our investigation,” Detective Inspector Tom Armitt said.
