3 Doors Down Kicks Man Out of Concert for Pushing Woman

WARNING: VIDEO ABOVE CONTAINS STRONG LANGUAGE

Veteran rockers 3 Doors Down have a zero-tolerance policy on violence towards women. Frontman Brad Arnold stopped a concert Tuesday at the 1st Bank Center in Broomfield, Colo., to have a man escorted out after he was seen pushing a woman in the audience

In a video posted on YouTube by the group’s lead guitarist, Chris Henderson, Arnold takes a break from singing “Citizen Soldier” to address the unidentified man.

“Hang on. Hang on. Hang on,” Arnold shouts as he gestured for the band to stop playing. “Hey homie. You don’t hit a woman. You just pushed a woman out the way to get into a fight. You d---. Get him the hell out of here. Somebody grab him and beat his ass.” The crowd erupts in applause.

Henderson commended Arnold, writing in his post: “Just another reason I’m proud to be in this band!!”

A spokesperson for the Broomfield Police Department confirmed the report to Yahoo Music, and said no arrests or charges were made.

Interestingly, the song Arnold was singing is about looking out for your fellow man. Arnold sings, “On that day when you need your brothers and sisters to care / I’ll be right here.” The music video depicts past and present soldiers coming to the aid of victims and features the National Guard.

The band is expected to release its sixth album, Us and the Night, this year.
