Billy Wirth in ‘The Lost Boys’ (Everett)

There are multiple vampire deaths in 1987′s The Lost Boys. But perhaps the most memorable one befalls Dwayne, the bloodsucker with the long, dark tresses who bites it (so to speak) after Corey Haim shoots an arrow into his chest and launches him into a sound system that electrocutes him, literally enabling the sound of INXS to make the dude’s head explode. “Death by stereo,” Haim’s Sam proudly declares afterward.

Now you can wear the jacket that Dwayne, played by Billy Wirth, wore while experiencing that very same death by stereo. Watch a video about the jacket below:

Prop Store, a movie memorabilia auction site, is currently auctioning off the jacket, as well as the pair of black Levis Wirth wore with it. According to a press release announcing the sale of the costume, one of several items in a collection from make-up and special effects artist Greg Cannom, the jacket has been cut at the elbows and in the back, most likely to accommodate the effects pieces needed to simulate Dwayne’s electrocution. But it still features a hand-painted jaguar on one sleeve, and will certainly add serious authenticity to your game if you wear it to the next Lost Boys Trivia Night. (That’s a thing, right? If it isn’t, it should be.)

It’s not cheap, though; the current bid on the “Death by Stereo” ensemble is $5,600.

For The Lost Boys collector on a budget, there are other less pricey items available, including Kiefer Sutherland’s leather pants, currently fetching $300, which seems like a bargain; Jami Gertz’s vampire contact lenses (current bid: $20); and a cast of the fangs and teeth for the character Laddie, now bidding at $30. The cost of owning something shaped like the mouth of a Lost Boy, though? Priceless.
