EXCLUSIVE: Xbox Entertainment Studios, which announced in May its Steven Spielberg-helmed live-action Halo TV show, is bolstering its executive ranks under President Nancy Tellem. Lydia Antonini has been hired as SVP of Innovation Labs after serving as consultant and producer for the Microsoft-owned studio. She previously exec produced the Emmy-nominated live-action Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn series and served at Warner Bros. as Director of Digital Content where she led creative on McG’s Aim High, Bryan Singer’s H+, and Kevin Tancharoen’s Mortal Kombat: Legacy web series. Antonini is a strategic advisor for the bilingual digital MiTu Network and worked with Fullscreen, dance group Jabbawockeez, and TakePartTV.
Josh Feldman joins the company as VP Creative reporting to SVP Jada Miranda. He also worked as EP on Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn. Feldman comes to Xbox from Tom Hanks and Gary Goetzman’s Playtone Pictures, where he produced the series Electric City along with a companion comic book and mobile game application.
David Renke has been hired as Executive Director of Strategy and Business Development focusing on Xbox Entertainment’s production, distribution, and monetization strategies. Prior to Xbox Renke was director in corporate development at Sony Pictures Entertainment. He was prevoiusly an associate in corporate and business development at Media Rights Capital (MRC) in Los Angeles, and an associate in media & entertainment investment banking at Compass Advisers in New York.
Art Pettigrue will lead internal communications and operational effectiveness and align all the studios as new Xbox Entertainment Chief of Staff. A 20-year veteran of the Microsoft fold, Pettigrue recently led executive communications for marketing and strategy in the Interactive Entertainment Business division. Before that, he oversaw public relations for Microsoft’s Windows, SharePoint, Project and Lync software.
