‘X-Men: Apocalypse’ Super Bowl Trailer: Blue People Attack Each Other

Fox is going for a big mutants push during Super Bowl 50, not only dropping a new Deadpool trailer just before the game began, but now a new X-Men: Apocalypse spot. Watch it above right now.

From 20th Century Fox, X-Men: Apocalypse is another period piece, this time set in the 1980s with younger (and recast) versions of Marvel’s mutants as they find themselves facing the first and most powerful mutant, Apocalypse, who has awakened after thousands of years with a plan to destructively “cleanse” humanity and create a new world order. Recruiting a team of powerful mutants, he’s opposed by much younger versions of the X-Men, led by Mystique and Charles Xavier.
