After showcasing their dreamy estate in Architectural Digest's October issue, it looks like Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen are already calling it quits on their custom-built chateau. According to The Boston Globe, the New England Patriots quarterback and his supermodel wife are ready to switch coasts and settle in the Boston 'burbs, where they're building another mansion. Yes, they're keeping their full-floor luxury condo in New York City (for now!).
Meanwhile, their 14,300-square-foot LA chateau is up for grabs - for the price of $50 million, that is. Situated on five acres in LA's ritzy Brentwood neighborhood, the home has every amenity imaginable, including a koi-fish-filled moat (complete with a bridge), an infinity pool, a home gym, and a chef's kitchen. Let's take a peek at the property they're parting with!
A blend of three types of Texas limestone gives the exterior walls a castle-like feel. To top it off, a bridge serves as a path to the front entrance.
In the kitchen, a backsplash made with antique Tunisian tile adds color while an oak island and textured brick ceiling lend a rustic touch.
The open-air architecture in this loggia strikes the perfect balance between indoor-outdoor living. We love how the paned doors look like giant windows!
