Who's Swindling Who? Will Smith and Margot Robbie Work the Angles in Exclusive Look at 'Focus'

The movie may be called Focus but things are dramatically unclear.

Will Smith stars as seasoned conman Nicky and Margot Robbie as his underworld ingénue Jess. Here, in this exclusive footage from the upcoming crime caper, we see Nicky ensnare a rich sports fan into making a really big bet. (Or is Nicky really the one getting conned? Hmm.)

The new footage also suggests the comely duo might not be totally in sync. Jess admits that she “just played” Nicky (at the 1:24-mark), and it doesn’t look like it will end well for him. The smart-mouthed Nicky is also on the receiving end of a punch from yet another adversary, so we get the feeling he’s not the luckiest of criminals.

Does Jess successfully con Nicky? Does he come through in the end with a reverse con? Do they team up to take on those other crooks? You just have to see it, in theaters Feb. 27, to decode all of the double-crossing in Focus.
