Who Is the Star in the First 'Mr. Peabody & Sherman' #WABACwednesday Photo?

Mr. Peabody, the smartest dog in the world, and his boy Sherman, can use their time machine, the WABAC (pronounced “way-back”), to travel anywhere in history. So with their first big-screen animated adventure, “Mr. Peabody & Sherman,” hitting theaters next spring, the duo are launching #WABACwednesday and visiting the stars of their movie back in their younger days.

So can you guess who this proud young football star grew up to be?

It’s Ty Burrell! The Emmy-winning star of “Modern Family” provides the voice for the genius canine Mr. Peabody in the new movie.

Burrell continued to play football through high school where he was a lineman for the Hidden Valley Mustangs in his native Grants Pass, Oregon. He traded in athletics for drama in college, but he continues to be a vocal supporter of the Oregon Ducks (who are currently 8-0 and in first place in the North division of the Pac-12).
