Jane Fonda has varied and impressive achievements over her career, including two Oscar wins and being a 1980s aerobics icon. Now she can add something else: the ability to make Jason Bateman cry. That’s a tough accomplishment, the actor says in this exclusive behind-the-scenes footage from the upcoming Blu-ray release of This Is Where I Leave You.

Fonda, who plays the matriarch in the ensemble family drama, reveals that she begged for the role — and apparently the chance to make an emotional mess of Bateman.
