Angelina Jolie, Lana Del Rey Make #ScaryHappy a Thing in New 'Maleficent' Trailer

We’ve seen Angelina Jolie grumble and loom as the infamous “Sleeping Beauty” baddie, Maleficent, but we haven’t seen her smile.

In the new trailer for Disney’s "Maleficent" that premiered during the Grammys Sunday night, she’s no longer shown mostly in silhouette and threatening to scare young Aurora, played by Elle Fanning. No, this time she’s threatening to scare you. And all it takes is a little “Well, well” with a devious smile.

After watching this, you’ll agree: scary-happy is definitely a thing.

Of course, this trailer isn’t just green eyes and cheekbones. Lana Del Rey lent her chilling croon to a reprisal of “Once Upon a Dream” and successfully does for this clip what she did last year around this time for the “Great Gatsby” trailer.

As the interstitial text explains, “You know the tale, now find out the TRUTH.” And the truth is a full-blown war between humans and magical woodland creatures.

"There is evil in this world, hatred, and revenge," she promises… and the footage proves it.

Still, according to all the people freaking out on Twitter, the real truth is Angelina herself:

Angelina as #maleficent is life hunny yassssss
