Watch This Hilarious ‘Walking Dead’ Parody for Red Nose Day

It is most certainly possible to have fun while also raising money for a good cause. That’s the best part about Red Nose Day, which helps fund various charities that help children. The NBC special raised a lot of money thanks in part to the celebrity guests. The Walking Dead’s Andrew Lincoln and Norman Reedus lent themselves for a bit in which the actors long for a friendlier version of their graphic zombie show. “Don’t you just wish you could do something … lighter?” posits Lincoln while wiping fake blood off his face. “It would be kind of amazing, freeing, to do something completely different.”

They then jumped into their fantasy: The Walking Dead Red Nose Day Special. It was a happy-go-lucky version of the show, which was done in the style of a comical sitcom intro. It also featured other members of the cast including Steven Yeun, Josh McDermitt, and Melissa McBride. Additionally, it had unexpected guests such as Jeff Goldblum, Dax Shepard, and Chris Hardwick. Alas, as Reedus put it as the montage ended, “No, we ain’t doing that.”
