Mindy Kaling (The Mindy Project) conveys a mix of snobbery and revulsion to achieve her character, Disgust, in Disney-Pixar’s upcoming Inside Out. Disgust is necessary to help the animated feature’s young hero, Riley (Kaitlyn Dias), from making poor judgments — like eating something gross or wearing a tacky outfit.
