Watch Kate McKinnon and Colleen Werthmann Improv Their Way Through Extended 'Sisters' Scene (Exclusive)
When Kate (Tina Fey) and Maura (Amy Poehler) went to their gay friends Sam (Kate McKinnon) and Cray (Colleen Werthmann) for party-planning tips in Sisters, the advice they got was sound if also succinct (“Costco hot wings… some big basic salamis… and a f–kload of potato salad”).
Turns out McKinnon (Saturday Night Live, Ghostbusters) and Werthmann (a writer on The Nightly Show With Larry Wilmore) gave director Jason Moore plenty moore (sorry) to work with, though, as seen in an extended clip from the comedy’s upcoming Blu-ray/DVD (watch exclusively above).

Among the other recommendations fired off by the quick-riffing comediennes: a keg of Blue Moon, pizza bagels, bulk cheeses, a Golden Girls marathon… They just keep going. All told, a hot wing-salami-Blue Moon-pizza bagel-bulk cheese-Golden Girls party? Sounds like a perfect Friday any night.
