Watch Harrison Ford Sign John Boyega's Han Solo 'Star Wars' Action Figure

When The Force Awakens star John Boyega was first properly introduced to fans at Star Wars Celebration last April, he demonstrated his galactic cred by telling a charming story about asking Harrison Ford to sign his Han Solo action figure while on set. “I went over to Harrison and said, ‘Can you sign my doll?’ and he was like, ‘This is weird, but I’ll sign it for you,’” Boyega said, even pulling off a decent impression of Ford’s growl.

In a new Force Awakens featurette — released on Saturday for Comic Con Brazil — we actually get to see that moment of giddy geekdom. (Watch it above.) Mixed in with previously-released scenes from the movie and more behind-the-scenes footage of the movie’s massive, mind-boggling sets, we’re treated to the moment when Boyega hands Ford a tall Han-Solo-in-Stormtrooper-gear, New Hope-based action figure. A bemused-looking Ford smiles and scribbles his name on the chest.

“He signed his action figure,” costar Daisy Ridley whispers to the camera afterwards, while Boyega gazes down lovingly at the newly-christened merch. Imagine how much more valuable it’ll be once the movie opens in theaters on Dec. 18.
