Watch Evil Nicole Kidman Try to Bag a Bear in Exclusive 'Paddington' Trailer

Watch out, Paddington. Someone wants to get her paws on you.

In this new trailer for the live-action movie about the beloved, marmalade-favoring bear, exclusively premiering on Yahoo Movies, we get a close look at Paddington's big bad, Millicent Clyde, played by Nicole Kidman.

She’s a stylish villain — with a short blond bob and bangs, dressed for the U.K. cold in structured suits and a billowing trench coat. But beneath this fashionista veneer lurks a ruthless taxidermist out to nab the rare Peruvian bruin (the computer-animated critter is voiced by Skyfall's Ben Whishaw) and add him to her collection of stuffed animals. Yikes.

Kidman only realized recently she wouldn’t be able take her youngest children, Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret, to see the family-friendly movie. "I was like, ‘I’ll do this for my children,’ and then they’re like, ‘Oh my gosh are you playing the bear’s mummy?’" the 47-year-old actress told BBC Radio 5 (via The Telegraph). “I’m like, ‘I’m not playing the bear’s mummy, no, I’m playing the person…’ — and that’s when I realized they can’t go see this film, I’m playing the taxidermist who wants to hurt the bear. Oh, my daughter was mortified. It was a risk, a terrible risk. They can’t see it now.”

Let’s hope Paddington comes out of it unstuffed, when the movie opens on Jan. 16.
