Tyler Marceca Sells Specs to Armory Films and Endurance Productions

Scribe Tyler Marceca, who sold his spec “The Disciple Program” to Universal with Mark Wahlberg attached to star, has started his year off strong, selling two specs: one to Armory Films and the other to Endurance Productions.

Armory acquired “Burnt Offering” from Marceca and attached John Swetman to produce. Plot details are being kept under wraps, but the project is described as “Prisoners” meets “Silence of the Lambs.”

Endurance acquired “Malpractice,” and sources describe the film as a thriller in the vein of “Taken” meets “The Fugitive.” Figure amounts were not disclosed for either sale.

Marceca broke onto the scene with “The Disciple Program” having never penned a script before. The spec caught several offers prior to Universal’s bid and is now being developed with Wahlberg starring and Morten Tyldum directing.

Marceca is repped by WME and Anonymous Content.
