'Transporter Refueled' Star Ray Stevenson Read Dr. Seuss for Us, and It Was Ridiculously Creepy

Do you like green eggs and ham? Once you hear those words in the sonorous voice of Ray Stevenson, you may change your mind. The British actor, known for playing both heroes ( Thor) and villains ( GI Joe 2: Retaliation), agreed to read Yahoo Movies a bedtime story while in town to promote his role in The Transporter Refueled (in theaters September 4). His rendition of the Dr. Seuss classic Green Eggs and Ham is a must-see: Stevenson turns the playful story of breakfast-loving Sam-I-Am and his stubborn friend into a dramatic interrogation, with moments of terrifying intensity (“Would you, could you in the dark?”) and pure rage (“I will not, will not with a goat!”). It all ends on a happy note, but oh, the places Ray Stevenson goes! Watch the video above.

The Transporter Refueled is a reboot of the Jason Statham action franchise, with Ed Skrein taking over as stunt-driving hero Frank Martin and Stevenson playing his father. It’s “a bit more playful, a lot more tongue-in-cheek” than the previous films, according to Stevenson. Watch the actor talk about the new film and its crazy stunts — including a car that boards a plane — in the video below.
