House of Cards' Beau Willimon, Michael Moore and Warner Bros.' Sue Kroll will speak at this year's Toronto International Film Festival industry conferences, organizers said Thursday.
Willimon will join The Imitation Game's Graham Moore and Jess Gonchor of Foxcatcher on an industry panel with the theme "World-Building: Screenwriters and Production Designers," and Moore will keynote the Doc Conference while in Toronto for a 25th anniversary screening of Roger & Me.
Kroll, Warner Bros.'s worldwide marketing and international distribution president, will deliver an industry overview of marketing, while IM Global Stuart Ford will do the same for the state of film financing and Picturehouse's Bob Berney will address the state of film distribution.
The invitation-only gathering of industry leaders also unveiled a panel on day and date release models with Wild Bunch's Vincent Maraval, Doc + Film's Daniela Elstner and IFC Films' Lisa Schwartz that The Hollywood Reporter executive editor Matthew Belloni will moderate.
The sixth annual Doc Conference added a keynote address from The Act of Killing's Joshua Oppenheimer and a segment, Focus On: ESPN Films, with director Frank Marshall and ESPN Films senior director of development Dan Silver speaking.
Toronto also booked Legendary East CEO Peter Loehr and directors Gareth Evans, Andrew Lau and Wang Xiaoshuai for the Asian Film Summit on September 9.
