Tom Holland confirms that Peter Parker dances again in Spider-Man: Homecoming

Peter Parker’s feature-length debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ is wildly anticipated by movie fans. Especially after his scintillating, albeit brief, cameo appearance in ‘Captain America: Civil War’.

But Tom Holland has made one revelation that has made us slightly worried for the first time about ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’. That’s because the 20-year-old actor has confirmed that Peter Parker will once again dance in the blockbuster.

After The Hollywood Reporter quizzed, “Does Peter Parker bust any moves?” Holland responded with, “Yes. There is a moment where he dances, and it’s so funny. It’s not good dancing.”

There might be some of you that are wondering why such a big hullabaloo is being made over Peter Parker strutting his stuff on the dance floor. If that’s the case then you probably haven’t seen ‘Spider-Man 3′, which is roundly labelled as the worst Spider-Man film out of the five that have so far been released.

Most of the ire towards the film is directed towards one scene in particular, which sees Tobey Maguire’s Peter Parker dancing his way through New York City in a supposedly cool and confident manner after being subjected to the alien symbiote Venom.

You can relive this elongated overly cheesy monstrosity below.

Considering just how much Spider-Man fans despise the above scene, you can expect Tom Holland’s version to be handled with care, especially considering the continued success of the Marvel Cinematic Universe under Kevin Feige. Because, quite frankly, Holland’s moves couldn’t be any worse than Maguire’s.

We’ll get to see it in all of its glory when ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ is released on July 7, 2017.
