Funny Questions With Funny People: Tina Fey

Tina Fey is one of the funniest people alive. As if evidence is needed in this matter, we’ll point to:

A. Her tenure as a writer/fake news anchor/Sarah Palin impersonator on “Saturday Night Live”

B. The oft-quoted screenplay she wrote for the obsessively beloved teen comedy, “Mean Girls”

C. Her unabashedly irreverent sitcom, “30 Rock”

D. Her hilariously self-deprecating autobiography, “Bossypants”

E. The last two Golden Globes telecasts, which she co-hosted with Amy Poehler

(Exhibit F gets submitted to theaters this week with the opening of "Muppets Most Wanted," in which Fey plays Nadya, the singing-and-dancing Russian prison warden who oversees Kermit’s stay in The Big House.)

Our point is, who better to kick off our new series, “Funny Questions With Funny People,” than Liz Lemon herself?

Fey gives us her thoughts on the funniest things and people in Hollywood, tells us a knock-knock joke, and eloquently explains why shots to the groin are so hilarious.

"Muppets Most Wanted" opens in theaters everywhere Friday.
