Could this couple be any cuter?
Faith Hill and Tim McGraw may have celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary last week, but there's still plenty of love to share.
McGraw took to Instagram on Friday to share the sweet note Hill left him on the day of their anniversary, with "20 years" encompassed in a heart drawn in lipstick.
"Woke up to on our anniversary!!!," he captioned the adorable shot.
While sweet on its own, Hill's anniversary message has a special significance for the couple, tying back to McGraw's proposal 20 years ago.
"We were in the dressing room here, June 26, 1996," he shared on Facebook at the Taste of Country Festival last year. "It was rainy and stuff and we'd been on tour for a while together. I'd joked around with her about getting married, and so ... I looked at her, I grabbed her by the hands before I went onstage. She had already done her show. And I said, 'I'm really serious. I want you to marry me.'"
"She laughed and she said, 'We're at a country music festival in a trailer house, and you're asking me to marry you?' And I said, 'Yeah.' So I went onstage."
McGraw received his answer after his performance. The words, "Yes, I'm going to be your wife," were written in Sharpie, along with "lipstick kisses" on the dressing room mirror.
After two decades together, it seems it's still the simple things that make McGraw and Hill smile.
ET caught up with the couple earlier this month, where they dished about how they would celebrate their milestone anniversary, following news of their joint Soul2Soul tour in 2017.
"On the couch in our sweats," Hill said with a sweet smile. "We're gonna binge-watch something."
"I want cornbread and peas," McGraw told his wife, who responded with a laugh. "That means I gotta cook!" she said. "Wait, babe. Hold up!"
