'Things We've Always Wondered' With Sasha Grey
Sasha Grey has over 200 acting credits listed on her IMDb filmography, but unless you’re a fan of, um, a certain genre (hey, we’re not judging), you probably haven’t heard of most of them. The 26-year-old was at one time the most popular adult film star in the world, but in 2011 retired from XXX activities to focus on more traditional work.
She had a recurring role in HBO’s Entourage, was recruited by auteur Steven Soderbergh to play an escort in The Girlfriend Experience, and now can be seen in the ambitious new thriller Open Windows. Directed by Nacho Vigalondo (Timecrimes) and co-starring Elijah Wood, the film’s story plays out entirely via webcams, live streaming, and security footage, with Grey playing an actress cyber-terrorized by an anonymous madman.
