Theaters Cancel Screenings of 'Team America: World Police'

Multiple theaters have said that they have scrapped plans to screen Team America: World Police.
The Dallas/Fort Worth Alamo Drafthouse theater, The Plaza Atlanta Theater in Georgia and the Capital Theater in Ohio have all canceled screenings.
"Due to to circumstances beyond our control, the TEAM AMERICA 12/27 screening has been cancelled. We apologize & will provide refunds today," Alamo Drafthouse theater in Dallas/Fort Worth wrote on its Twitter account.
On Wednesday, the Alamo Drafthouse theater location made headlines for posting a note on its website and social media announcing a screening on Dec. 27 at 7 pm.
"We’re just trying to make the best of an unfortunate situation," the Drafthouse’s Dallas/Fort Worth manager told The Hollywood Reporter about the screening before its cancelation.
