The Raunchy, Randy Magazine Headlines in 'Trainwreck'
The Judd Apatow comedy Trainwreck made a healthy bundle at the box office this weekend, due in no small part to Amy Schumer’s hilarious performance as a boozy New York magazine writer. Her character Amy works at the fictional testosterone-infused men’s magazine S’Nuff that’s edited-in-chief by Tilda Swinton’s deliciously despicable (and very tan!) Dianna. One of the small pleasures of the movie is a cascading list of S’Nuff’s barely-ludicrous story ideas and headlines that come straight out of the lascivious lad-mag tradition.
