Henry Cavill and Armie Hammer Heat Up the Cold War in New 'The Man From U.N.C.L.E.' Trailer

Before Henry “Superman” Cavill meets Ben “Batman” Affleck, he’ll be teaming up with Armie “Lone Ranger” Hammer. That’s the dynamic duo at the center of The Man From U.N.C.L.E., Guy Ritchie’s adaptation of the ‘60s spy series. Cavill plays CIA operative Napoleon Solo, while Hammer portrays his KGB rival-turned-reluctant partner, Illya Kuryakin. Hugh Grant is also on hand as their handler, Waverly, and Ex Machina’s Alicia Vikander plays Gaby Teller, their partner in the field. In this new trailer, which just premiered at Comic-Con, the two spar verbally (and occasionally physically) while on the trail of a mysterious organization with nuclear ambitions. That definitely sounds like a job for Superman.

The Man From U.N.C.L.E. opens Aug. 14.
