The movie based on this DC Comic character, starring Jason Momoa, comes out in 2018 — so there’s still time for Aquaman’s popularity wave to swell. But as of now, his high-end figurine isn’t selling nearly as much as his Batman and Superman counterparts, admits Mike Tolentino of Sideshow Collectibles. “It’s a killer statue. People just don’t dig on Aquaman,” he explains. “He’s been getting good reception. It’s been, ‘Hey, that’s cool… for Aquaman.’”
