'The Flash' Star Ezra Miller Describes the Feeling Putting on the Costume

One of the biggest reasons to believe DC Comics is making good on its effort to lighten up its offering of comic book films is Ezra Miller. The actor, who will debut as the Flash in Justice League, is clearly going to be plucky, based on released footage we’ve seen. It seems like that energy comes from a natural place. When Yahoo Movies had the chance to chat with Miller at the junket for Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, we asked him what it felt like to put on the Flash’s iconic costume, and he gushed about it.

“I’ll tell you that donning the Flash suit is one of the single most thrilling experiences I’ve ever known,” Miller said with a smile. “You know it’s like a samurai getting in his armor. Every day, I just felt like, so cool. It’s the greatest. I really love playing the Flash. I love Barry Allen. I really, I’ve come to, yeah, I’ve come to really hold a special place in my heart for this neurotic but altruistic individual.

“I’m just so excited to explore him and explore that for as long as possible,” Miller continued. “Even if it just means, this. Honestly, it’s an incredible gift to the world, the long history of the Flash. I feel so lucky to be a part of these great stories.”
