Perfect Timing for 'If I Stay' Prologue Trailer
The Fault in Our Stars fans got a bumper crop of excitement this week. Not only did their misery end with the release of TFIOS, but those hungry for even more YA tear-jerking, found another little gift waiting for them. The new prologue trailer for If I Stay — the upcoming film starring Chloë Grace Moretz based on the novel by Gayle Forman — launched online this week in full weepy glory.
If I Stay follows teen cello prodigy Mia (Moretz) as her life hangs in the balance in the aftermath of a gruesome car accident. While in a coma, Mia witnesses the events taking place around her — from the struggles of her injured and dying family members who were also pulled from the wreck, to the visits of her panicked boyfriend, pleading with her to stay alive. High-drama emotional intensity ensues.
