Screenwriter Katie Dippold on How 'Ghostbusters' Changed and Why 'The Heat 2' Isn't Happening

“I was super-psyched, and also terrified.” That was Katie Dippold’s reaction to a lunch meeting she had with Paul Feig two years ago at San Diego Comic-Con, where the writer-director asked her to co-pen his yet-to-be-announced, all-female Ghostbusters. Dippold already had the pedigree. In the end, though, “it was all from love,” Dippold told Yahoo Movies.
