Chris Pine and Idris Elba Fight To Be Handsomest ‘Star Trek’ Captain in New Charity Video
Chris Pine has played Captain Kirk in the last two Star Trek movies, but he may have a new challenger: Idris Elba. In a new video for the charity initiative ‘Star Trek: To Boldly Go,’ the stars of Star Trek Beyond (in theaters July 8, 2016) fight for alpha-male status over one of its most iconic pop culture symbols: Captain Kirk’s chair. Things get a little tense with a disagreement over the teleprompter, and pretty soon, Elba decides that he’s taking over the Enterprise.

See Zachary Quinto Becoming Spock for 'Star Trek 3'
Zachary Quinto has done something highly illogical: He’s leaked a photo of himself getting into character for Star Trek 3. The actor, who will reprise his role as Spock, posted an Instagram picture of himself (below) with the Vulcan’s short hair and angular eyebrows, minus the pointy ears. Meanwhile, Quinto’s co-star Zoe Saldana posted her own behind-the-scenes picture of herself in a Star Trek 3 trailer (below).

Will William Shatner Return as Old Kirk in 'Star Trek 3'?
The newest Star Trek movie may put William Shatner back in the captain’s chair. According to the Alamo Drafthouse blog BadAssDigest, the script for Star Trek 3 includes a scene for the original Kirk and Spock, played by Shatner and Leonard Nimoy, respectively. Sounds like Shatner is being offered a place in the new Star Trek universe — but will he agree to boldly go?
