The Magnificent Seven was number one at the box office over the weekend, and the magnificently evil Bartholomew Bogue, played by Peter Sarsgaard, was a character to be reckoned with. Prior to filming Magnificent Seven, Sarsgaard was playing the lead role of Hamlet, off-Broadway in New York. Yahoo Movies’ own Senior Editor Kevin Polowy asked Sarsgaard what inspired him while playing the bad guy, and it turns out being able to quote Shakespeare was useful.
