'Suicide Squad': First Photo of Cast in Costume Released

The first photo of the Suicide Squad is here.

Director David Ayer tweeted the first photo of the cast of the highly anticipated comic book film in costume on Sunday.

The photo features nearly the entire cast, only missing Jared Leto as the Joker, though Ayer released a photo of Leto in costume last month:

Other than that, though, Task Force X is fully assembled in the new look. It shows Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flagg, Jai Courtney as Captain Boomerang, Cara Delevingne as Enchantress, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Will Smith as Deadshot, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje as Killer Croc, Adam Beach as Slipknot and Jay Hernandez as El Diablo. It also features Karen Fukuhara, who was previously rumored to play Plastique, but looks much more like Katana in the photo.

Although not in the picture, Viola Davis will also star as Amanda Waller.

The Warner Bros. film, based on the DC comic book series, is currently shooting in Toronto. It focuses follows a group of super-villains hired for a mission that would give them a clean slate. The catch? It will probably kill them all.

Suicide Squad is set to hit theaters August 2016.
