CBS opened Stephen Colbert’s The Late Show last night with an announcement that, given the changing political climate, it was re-relaunching the sitcom The Odd Couple – this time starring Donald Trump’s chief of staff Reince Priebus and chief strategist Steve Bannon.

“He’s a by-the-book Republican insider. He’s an alt-right conspiracy theorist,” CBS described, in order. “Can these two men run the White House without driving each other crazy?”

“Sorry you had to find out this way, Matthew Perry,” Late Show said.
