When actors reprise their famous roles
The Color of Money
Paul Newman as Eddie Felson ("The Color of Money") - One of Newman's most beloved movie roles was that of pool shark/con man Eddie Felson in 1961's "The Hustler." He reprised the role 25 years later in Martin Scorsese's "The Color of Money," a high-stakes drama about an up-and-coming pool player named Vincent Lauria (Tom Cruise). While many critics considered the film to be an inferior followup to "The Hustler," the film has the distinction of being one of the first sequels in which an actor reprised the same role so many years later.
