Significant Others Directing One Another
It takes a courageous couple to collaborate in art as they do in life. In honor of that courage, and the love (or paycheck) it takes to make that leap, we present a gallery of 10 director/actor teams who were also couples. What's not so shocking about this list is that we were unable to come up with even one instance where the woman directed the man, which probably says something about both men and Hollywood. What is rather shocking is that 8 out of the 10 couples are either still together or remained together until death made them part, suggesting that spending time doing something you love with the one you love is good, not just for a relationship, but for art.
Because being with the director is a great way to get a part.
