Shailene Woodley and Theo James Face Their Fears in the ‘Divergent’ Poster Reveal

Don’t jump!

While this exclusive new poster for "Divergent" may look like Shailene Woodley and Theo James are teetering on a narrow ledge high above a futuristic Chicago, we assure you, they’ll be fine. Tris and Four are Dauntless, after all.

Last week brought the tattoo-heavy character posters for their fellow Faction members — Tori (Maggie Q), Max (Mekhi Phifer), Eric (Jai Courtney), Christina (Zoe Kravitz), and Peter (muscly Miles Teller), but, if you look closely, this final one-sheet shows some tats in action. See those birds in the background? They’re pretty much identical to those on Tris’s chest in her character poster.

This image of our heroine and her love interest shows what it really means to be Dauntless.

You see, it’s not just about bravery. It’s also about facing your fears. See that uncomfortable look on Four’s face? It’s not because he doesn’t like to crouch. Four — who was nicknamed that because his “fear landscape” only shows him as having four fears — is afraid of heights. Thankfully, Tris and her gorgeous hair are up there to help him. Perhaps we’ll see more of both Four’s fears and Tris’s hair in the new trailer, which premieres on Wednesday morning.

In real life, James doesn’t exactly think he’d fit in with the Dauntless … but he’s not sure which of the five Factions — the others being Abnegation (selflessness), Amity (peace), Candor (honesty), and Erudite (intelligence) – he would fit into either. Perhaps he’d be like Tris, Divergent, and fitting into more than one group.

"As Four begins to realize in the second book, I think I can neither be one nor the other," he told Yahoo Movies during a visit to the movie’s set. "Human nature forces you to be all of them or some of them all mixed together."

His co-star, Maggie Q, also thinks she’d be Divergent, but admits she’d probably fit right in with Dauntless at first glance.

"[Dauntless] would probably feel the most natural, although there’s a part of me in all of them, to be very honest," she told us. "There’s that Erudite side — for me, it’s always about knowing more and learning more and doing more. That intellectual side of me is very important. And then there’s the Abnegation, where you put other people first, which is definitely part of who I am. Amity, I’m in very service as well … But I think the thing that I’m most known for would be the Dauntless side."

A few other stars of “Divergent” shared their thoughts on which Faction they’d fall into — check it out in this video from our visit to the set of Abnegation.

"Divergent," which also stars Kate Winslet, Ashley Judd, and Tony Goldwyn, arrives in theaters on March 21. A new trailer is set to premiere Wednesday morning, starting with a live chat on YouTube.com/SummitScreeningRoom at 8:30 a.m. PT hosted by director Neil Burger. You can see the next trailer right here on Yahoo Movies at noon ET/9 a.m. PT tomorrow.
