‘Saturday Night Live’ Ratings Solid With Host Larry David

With the Presidential primary campaign in full swing, Saturday Night Live delivered another solid ratings showing last night, with the show hosted by Larry David and featuring appearances by Democratic candidate (and David doppelgänger) Bernie Sanders drawing a 5.1 household rating in the metered markets and a 2.4 adults 18-49 rating in the 25 markets with local people meters.

That was on par in households with the Tina Fey-Amy Poehler-hosted holiday SNL edition (5.1, 2.6), which was the second-best result of the season, as well as the past 22 months behind the one headlined by Donald Trump, and up +9% versus SNL’s season averages for originals in both households and in 18-49.
