Sacha Baron Cohen Brings Back Borat to Hawk the New 'Brothers Grimsby' Trailer
Sacha Baron Cohen used his most famous character to hawk his latest creation on Wednesday night, introducing the new trailer for The Brothers Grimsby on Jimmy Kimmel Live!
After an extended bit in which Cohen-cum-Borat called Kimmel a hairy vagina and riffed on Donald Trump (which you can see at the bottom of this post), the trailer for Grimsby, a spy spoof, began rolling.
Instead of a rapper, fashion designer, or clueless Kazakhstani, Cohen plays a doofus — and very virile — working-class Englishman named Nobby. A devout soccer fan and father of nine (he’s married here to Rebel Wilson), Nobby yearns only to find his long-lost brother, who was adopted by a different family.
While Nobby went on to a modest, booze-filled life, his brother, played by Mark Strong, became the greatest spy in British history (even better than James Bond, since he doesn’t cause as much trouble). When Nobby finally finds him, a simple hug leads to all hell breaking loose, and from the look of the trailer, what ensues looks like a classic mismatched-cop comedy.
Isla Fisher, Gabourey Sibide, and Penélope Cruz also star in the film, which hits theaters on March 11.
