U2 Documentary & Concert Special Set For This Fall On HBO

U2 and HBO are partnering on two specials to premiere this fall on HBO. A documentary, to premiere November 7, goes behind-the-scenes offering access to the band and team that worked with them on their current iNNOCENCE + eXPERIENCE world tour. It takes a look into the creation of the tour, which began May 14 in Vancouver and currently runs through November.

The following week, the network will present the tour’s November 14 performance, shot at the Bercy Arena in Paris and aired exclusively that same day. Both the documentary and the concert will be available on HBO GO and HBO NOW simultaneous to the programs’ world premieres on HBO.

“U2 continues to take risks, which has made them one of the most consistently exciting forces in rock’n’roll,” said Michael Lombardo, president, HBO Programming. “The one-two combination of this documentary special, followed by the concert, will provide viewers with the ultimate look at this remarkable band behind the scenes and on the stage.”
