Tribeca Winner ‘Stand Clear of the Closing Doors’ Gets Distribution

Oscilloscope Laboratories has acquired all North American rights to “Stand Clear of the Closing Doors,” four months after the drama won a special jury prize at the Tribeca Film Festival.

Oscilloscope will release “Doors” next year.

The film had its international premiere at the Karlovy Vary festival and will next be seen in Sundance Institute’s inaugural “Next Weekend” festival, which starts Thursday in Los Angeles.

The film, directed by Sam Fleischner from a script by Rose Lichter-Marck and Micah Bloomberg, focuses on a 13-year old boy with Asperger syndrome who gets lost in the New York City subway system.

The film was produced by Andrew Neel, Veronica Nickel, Dave Saltzman and Craig Shilowich.
