‘The Tribe’ Director Signs With CAA (EXCLUSIVE)

Myroslav Slaboshpytskiy has signed with CAA for representation.

The director is best known for his feature film debut “The Tribe,” which premiered at the 2014 Cannes Critic Week. The film went on to win The Nespresso Grand Prize, the France 4 Visionary Award, and the Gan Foundation for Cinema Award, marking the first time in the festival’s history a film had accomplished such a feat.

Since bowing, the pic has received distribution in over 40 countries and won 43 awards from various festivals and critics associations. It is currently being theatrically distributed in the U.S. by Drafthouse Films.

Slaboshpytskiy’s next film, “Luxembourg,” is is set to shoot later this year on-location in the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone. He continues to be managed by Lee Stobby at Lee Stobby Entertainment.
